Sharon Lawrence

Earlier this month I scored a last-minute interview with Sharon Lawrence, who isn’t just Sylvia Costa-Sipowicz, aka Sipowicz’s wife, on NYPD Blue, but was in a steady stream of TV shows since, like Shameless, How to Get Away with Murder, The Ranch, Me, Myself and I, Queen Sugar, Rizzoli & Isles, Drop Dead Diva, One Tree Hill, Monk, Desperate Housewives, Ladies Man, Fired Up — and now! — Dynasty.

You’ll hear Sharon, who’s on the SAG-AFTRA Foundation Board, reflect on:

  • provacative TV

  • landing her famous Hollywood gigs

  • going from small-town North Carolina to New York City and Los Angeles

  • her husband, her parents, her in-laws and who she hangs out with

  • life, love & acting

Grab your headphones. Hang out with us for an hour.

BIG THANKS to Carson Beck and soundBOX Studio City.

Carson saved the day!

Earlier this month I was in Los Angeles recording new episodes of Really Famous. At the last minute, I scored this interview with Sharon. But for various reasons, we had nowhere to record it.

Enter Carson, who invited us to use his comfy, cozy and sound-tastic studio. It was PERFECTION. Sharon and I sat back and relaxed on his cushy couches while Carson hooked us up with stellar microphones and recorded our entire conversation with excellent sound.

NEW!

I’ll interview you.

(Or someone in your family.)

LA happy day.JPG

For a limited time, you can give the gift of a Really Famous-style interview.

I’ll interview anyone you like — your grandma, your dad, your sister, your co-worker, cousin, daughter, boss, you!

I’ll do my research, interview her/him/you and record it just like I do for all my Really Famous episodes.

Then I’ll give it to you so you can listen to it on your phone, computer, iPad, Alexa speaker, smart TV, you name it.

Give it as a gift. Or keep it as a family heirloom.

It’s fun. It’s fascinating. It’s forever.
