This was an odd talk where Dick Cavett interviewed filmmaker Alexander Payne (About Schmidt, Sideways, Nebraska) but Dick Cavett seemed to be existing in an alternate universe. I don’t think Alexander Payne was sure what to do but thankfully things picked up when they opened it to audience questions and Payne had a chance to share his compelling stories, insights and advice.

Jake Lacy's red carpet interview at the world premiere of his Tribeca Film Festival award-winner, Diane. It won the Founder's Award from Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal. He talks about decompressing after shooting the movie, playing Fran on the HBO series Girls - and who he really is.

Her film DIANE just won top honors at the Tribeca Film Festival - Robert De Niro and Jane Rosenthal's Founders Award for Best U.S. Narrative Feature. Here she was on the red carpet of the World Premiere, a few days before the Kent Jones film scored top honors.

All the cameras swirl around! Everyone loves Matthew Broderick, of course! But no one steals a red carpet like Sarah Jessica Parker. Tribeca Film Festival - TO DUST PS Matthew Broderick arrived 5 or 10 minutes earlier and was fabulous with fans. He gave autographs, posed for selfies and was an all-around crowdpleaser.
