According to my high school yearbook, life moves fast.

Ferris Bueller will forever be attached to me (in my high school yearbook).

The quote I chose to sit under my senior class photo was from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off:

“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop to look, you’ll miss it.”

A few years later, when it was time to create a personal page in a similar book for an organization I was part of in college, I chose this one:

“That which does not kill us makes us stronger.”

Nietzche.

I still feel like these quotes fit me. And it’s a whole bunch of years later. I guess even as we evolve throughout our lives, certain philosophies or core beliefs hold true.

In this photo, I’m noticing (not missing) life happening. It’s a before and after shot of my son and our dog.

What’s one of your core beliefs?
